Vampires at the Comdey Festival

The Ghouls of the Theatre Garage providing ambience for the Comedy Festival After Party on Saturday in the Citadel's Shoctor Lobby.  These vampires howl with Joe Flaherty and leave mustahces on the faces of the people they meet.

The Bear's New Cruiser

The Bear had a soft unveil of their new cruiser yesterday at the new Boneyard on the southside.  When they were dressing their driver, a handsome, macabre looking undertaker to drive this new hearst, they came to the Theatre Garage for some custom made finishing touches.  Just what the costume needed... blood red lace jabot and cuffs.  Look for the big reveal of the Bear's hearst and gruesome undertaker at the Halloween Howler this friday October 28th.

Screamfest Deadmonton!

I love that Edmonton... excuse me... Deadmonton embraces the macabre as openly as it does!  What could be better than 5 haunted houses in the same location!?!  The terror starts tonight at 7pm and runs this weekend and next!

Dead Centre of Town

The 5th annual gory, ghoulish celebration of this fair city's dark secrets, and my personal favorite way to celebrate the Halloween season.

Check out the brilliance behind Catch the Keys Productions as the Dart sisters work their magic again.

Theatre Garage on Breakfast Television

This morning marked our 3rd annual Breakfast Television Halloween Thriller!  There really is nothing like a morning filled with good friends, lots of costumes, and lots of laughs.  Thanks again Bridget Ryan for showering us with compliments and letting us dress you up and spray blood in your face.  Hope you tuned in to watch the show.  But if you missed it... don't worry... the title of this blog is a link that will let you share the costume joy again and again.  I've watched it three times already!

The October People

Its october and that means that two of my favorite people are in halloween heaven.  Who knows what they are cooking up this year for Dead Center of Town and who knows what wickedly gorey concoctions they are brewing in their kitchen for fun.  Check them out! The October People Productions!

Halloween Events!

The month of Halloween is in full swing here in Dedmonton!  Don't know what's happening?  Dedmonton has a ghastly, ghoulish and grotesque gathering of our morbid metropolis’ most spine chilling events. From horror movie screenings, to ghost walks, art events and concerts - if it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end, you’ll find it there!

Costume Class

Costume Class

One of my favorite things about The Theatre Garage and our clients is being consistently surprised by their creativity.  And from this costume we get to tell people that we costumed a donkey! Meet Dazzle and Kaitlyn who placed third as Ariel and Sebastian in the "costume class" at their first Miniature Donkey Extravaganza II Junior Show.  I love that after competeing in trail, racing, jumping etc... they even have a costume event!

ZOMBIES!!!

If you have never seen or been to a Zombie Walk... what are you waiting for?!? Edmonton has its very own River City Zombie Committee and they do it up right.  They are celebrating 5 years of dragging their undead carcasses through the streets of Edmonton with a Zombie Walk on Friday October 7th and they will be thirsting for brains all weekend with their first annual Zombie Prom and BBQ on October 8th.  Check them out on facebook for all the post apocalyptic details.
